The Darklands Mountains is a mountain version of the Darklands biome. This biome is (compared to the other Darklands biomes) completely made out of Darkstone (the top 6 layers is solid Darkstone, but there's also a lot more Darkstone generating below the ground)

Mobs[edit | edit source]
The following mobs spawn in the Darklands Mountains:
- Normal vanilla mobs (animals, monsters)
- Depths Ghouls
- Abyssal Zombies
- Shadow Creatures
- Shadow Monsters
- Shadow Beasts
Generation[edit | edit source]
The Darklands biomes is the only place where the player can obtain Abyssalnite, which generates at the same height and rarity as Emerald ores.
No trees generate in this biome.
Structures[edit | edit source]
Various structures made out of Darkstone, Darkstone Cobblestone and Darkstone Bricks generate within the Darklands Plains. One of them is a 2 story hut with a full enchantment table at the 2nd floor.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- This was one of the Overworld biomes added in the big biome update (AbyssalCraft 1.5.0).
- This is the only biome where Shadow beings (Shadow Creature/Monster/Beast) spawn.
