ODB Cores are explosives added by Abyssalcraft.

Crafting[edit | edit source]

Recipe for the ODB Core.

Drops[edit | edit source]

Drops itself if harvested by a Diamond Pickaxe or greater; otherwise, nothing.

Usage[edit | edit source]

World Interaction[edit | edit source]

  • Light it with either a Redstone Signal or Flint And Steel to see a powerful explosion go off spanning 16 blocks in all four directions horizontally and 11 blocks in both directions vertically, generating an elliptical blast crater in the process. Unlike most explosives... this one is quick to detonate. Blocks that are caught within its blasting zone (Except Ethaxium and other notable exceptional blocks) will be voided in the process.

Crafting[edit | edit source]

Ritual[edit | edit source]

  • Used in the Ritual of Shadows. (Requires 1000 PE and an Abyssal Wastelands Necronomicon, or a Necronomicon that is more powerful.) Items in outer ring: 4 Obsidian, Oblivion Catalyst, ODB Core, Liquid Antimatter Bucket, Bucket of Liquid Coralium. | Item in central altar: None. | Output: Spawns Sacthoth, Harbinger of Doom.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

An unorthadox use of this explosive is to create an easy base or mob grinding chamber, as it clears out enough space.

The blast is capable of destroying Monster Spawners. Use of this item is not recommended if the player is looking to clear a large area in the look for dungeons.
